Dolphin Cruise

On Tuesday, we took a cruise on the Little River, into the Intracoastal Waterway, and then into the Atlantic Ocean in hopes of seeing some dophins. The Sea Thunder crew promised we would see at least one, and if not they will let you ride again the next day.

By the way, did you know that the Intracoastal Waterway goes all the way from Maine to Florida? I had no idea. But I'm out of touch with geography as you all know. Shut it, Jay!

We were hoping to see some, since Madelyn told me it was her life long dream to see a dolphin in person. I later found out she wasn't kidding; she had her bedroom done in dolphins and lighthouses for a long time. She definitely made some good memories today.

Casino Cruises available (adults only)
The Little Mermaid (not so little) attached to one of the many beautiful homes you will see along the river.
The Marina

After going all the way out to the Atlantic, we finally saw a school of dolphins following a shrimp boat. There were several jet skis behind the boat as well, and they would come so close they could touch them.

This was our captain, I wanted to buy Jay a t-shirt like this to wear to work at the credit union (the tie is just a picture on the shirt). So cool. LOL
Some of the scenery along the river
Governor's Point Lighthouse...definitely the prettiest picture I've taken in a while. All with the iPhone.

Sorry these were not in order, I was having difficulty getting them to move around the page after uploading with the Blogger app. My blog is still very much a work in progress.
