Mother-Daughter Beach Trip 2012 - Day 1

My mom retired this year, and my job allows me to work only half the year for full time pay, so I'm off every other week. Even though we had alteady been to Fripp Island, we decided a girls' trip was what we really needed, and wanted to bring my cousin and her daughter with us (the more the merrier).
Finding last minute ocean front accommodations was no easy task, especially with the amenities we were looking for. Finally, I was able to land a spot smack dab in the middle of Myrtle Beach, where all the action is (you know, quiet and peaceful -not), at the Holiday Inn Pavillion.
We left Sunday after I got off work and decided to drive until we got tired. We actually made it about two and a half hours before our first break at a McDonalds somewhere outside of Columbia. How do you say nasty without sounding rude? Who cares, it was Nasty with a Capitol N!
