Today, I decided to take my lunch to work because what they offer at the hospital is less than healthy. I took a fairly decent lunch with me, carried it around all day, then ended up going to a meeting at lunch where food was provided. Well guess what it was - Mexican food! I could not pass it up of course, and ended up having a plate of steak fajitas and some type of chicken dish that was primarily shredded chicken. I also had some guacamole and a few chips. Oh and don't forget the fried tortilla thingy with the sugar all over it. Ho Hum. I tried. The road to health is paved with good intentions, but has Mexican food and biscuits at the rest stops.
I did manage to work out tonight at home, I did YRG (yoga for regular guys)...I did the easy one since it's been a while, but I"ll crank it up soon and do more.
Thanks, Patty, for motivation.
By the way, please check out my friend Patty's new blog listed here, Healthy Life.

Ok, you've made me hungry.
Sorry, Anthony, to make you hungry. I realized after reading this again that I said "ho hum, I tried." Well, that's not exactly true is it? I guess I really didn't TRY, but I have to try to do better. Not for weight loss so much, but for health.
thanks for the mention, kim! {ps: i love mexican food... yum.}
